A Summer On The Cornish Coast
Inspired by days sat on the North Cornwall coastline watching the changing tide crashing over the rocks. The bright blue sea typical of the area sparkles in the distance
The way the pattern of rocks continues to evolve as the tide hides and reveals the landscape as it changes was captivating. I'm fascinated with how different tides unearthed an entirely different landscape dependant on the time of day a place was discovered.
Thick paint was applied spontaneously with a palette knife, portraying the structure of the rocks and continuous momentum of the sea.
